Romania Onshore Wind Energy Development

Pondera is collaborating with Frizon, a leader in sustainable agriculture, to develop two major wind farms in Romania. With a total capacity of around 1 GW, these wind farms represent a significant step toward a greener future. 

Pondera is a renewable energy specialist and Frizon's expertise in cultivating crops in the most sustainable way makes them the perfect partner for this venture. Frizon is providing the land for these wind farms, and together, these companies develop large-scale onshore wind farms in Romania to decarbonize the electricity generation in the region. 

But that's not all. Pondera and Frizon are also exploring the production of green hydrogen, which could be used to create ammonia and fertilizers. This would close the loop for Frizon's agricultural operations, creating a fully sustainable cycle from energy production to crop cultivation. 

This partnership not only advances renewable energy but also revolutionizes sustainable farming with combined Dutch and Romanian knowledge.
